SCHOLARSHIP GUIDELINES rev. 2020

Scholarship Goals: Scholarship grants are available to provide financial support for growth in the Christian life through continuing education experiences for congregations and members of Litchfield South Association.

Scholarship Funding: Litchfield South Association scholarships shall be funded out of the per capita member dues paid by LSA congregations. Out of every $1.50 per member dues received by the Association, $.60 goes into a scholarship fund to support scholarships for Association members in discernment, clergy, lay members, youth and congregations. In addition, the Association asks that offerings received at installations and ordinations be directed to the Association Scholarship Fund through the Association Treasurer.

Scholarship Publicity: The Association Registrar shall send Scholarship Guidelines and Applications to all clergy and members-in-discernment every January.

Scholarship Allocations: Scholarship grants will be given out based on the funds available using Scholarship Bank guidelines and in the priority order noted #1-5 below. In each case, scholarship grants will be given directly to the applicant.
